About Me
Daniel "Joji" Koons is currently working in the digital
game industry in the area of software quality assurance as a Test
Associate III with the game testing solutions company Experis Game Solutions.
Through this experience, he has gained a significant amount of knowledge of
game and software development with a distinct understanding of the SaaS product
lifecycle. Joji has continued his education by earning a certificate in Full Stack Engineering
for web application development through the University of Arizona and Trilogy
Education Services. He plans to pursue opportunities in commercial software development and management.
Joji graduated from Arizona State University earning a Bachelor of Arts in the
major of Digital Culture with a focus on media processing and software
engineering. His coursework mainly focused on programming in a variety of
languages such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS and topics such as iOS
development, web development, game design, and graphic design. He
is also very knowledgeable of Adobe products such as Adobe Premiere
and Adobe After Effects, as well as game development engines such as
GameMaker, Unity, and Unreal. His creative projects include digital game
development, photography, videography, and writing music.
Work
Project-SFW is a web-app, customizable education platform that can be tailored to any line of business. It uses self-designed lessons to help train employees, as well as quizzes based on the information they are being taught. The site also has reporting features to track employees progress and results, which can be visualized in a nice and simple manner.

Rate Your Employee is a web-app tool designed for large corporations, or multiple companies, to easily navigate and grade their employee's performance. Inspired by Rate My Professor, Rate Your Employee allows team leads and managers to add employees to their company's database, and grade their skills based off a five-star rating.
Technologies used: MEHN Stack (MySQL, Express, Handlebars.js, Node.js), GSAP Framework, hosted on Heroku
LIFT.IT is a web-app designed to help track your workouts and maximize your efficiency inside the gym. LIFT.IT provides the user with mutliple exercises of different muscle groups, allows the user to set a time limit on each exercise, and provides the user with motivation to live a more healthy lifestyle!

The Seinfeld Character Finder is a survey that compares your answers to the answers that the characters of Seinfeld submitted! After you have submitted your answers, you will then be added to the site's API for comparisons! Using HTML and CSS for design, Node and Express for server creating, and Heroku for hosting, this web app is simple for the user, but was a bit challenging in development.

GIFTastic is a website that allows users to click one of the pre-made buttons, under the subject of sitcoms, to display multiple gifs and their ratings pulled from the GIPHY API. Users can also add their own sitcoms, or really any subject, to display the same information.

Trivia Game, Harry Potter edition, is a web-app game designed to test your knowledge of the world of Harry Potter! Designed simply with jQuery and JavaScript, the game populates each page with a question for you to answer. However, you only have a few seconds to answer since each question is timed!
